i never said he wasn't cool. i'm sure he's a nice guy. i just hate people who brag. i don't think it's tasteful. bragging when you can take credit for it is different...but still tasteless. maybe it's because i hear my CEO every day telling me that he's buying another ferrari...or another chopper...or buying a diablo...or another benz...or another house....etc. gets sort of old after a while. it's like he's trying to prove he's better than everyone else. i just think it's because he was a loser growing up and needs to try to prove he's cool now.

i couldnt read it because of the missing punctuation but it never came off as bragging to me, more like at the mention of father you latched onto him in an angry rage.

he posted that his dad was going to buy him a new car in the first post....then in another post said "yeah, and my dad buys my books too". it wasn't in the first post....but, yes, it was bragging.

i could care less if his dad buys it for him...he just came off snobby.

Damn just get over it.... Tj crashed car, tj had no insurance, cuz parents went "whoops" Dad says "Its ok son I got your back well get though it togehter", Tj goes YAY I get another car so my day looks greater already....

 

damn, have some sympathy.. the guy just totalled his Z and you get mad at him for "sounding snobby".. if you just totalled your car i'm sure the last thing you'd try to "sound" like is snobby..
