Jeff .. buddy! I sure hope to see ya there

I was told certainly run groups are sold out, although it is unclear to me which group(s) that might be. So, ya might want to act fast.

Hey Clint...I'm in there. I'll see you out at the track.

On an interesting side note, all three of the Unitech Racing 350Z's will be participating in the event, running in the fastest group. I will be doing some testing with them on a new suspension setup for the Z, which will be for sale most likely in early 2005. :cool

This will be a good chance for you guys that didn't make it out to a Grand Am Cup race this year to see the full race Z's up close and personal. They are pretty darn sweet.

Jeff,
Good deal. I'll be looking forward to it.

The other Jeff,
Any luck finding a new ride in place of your old Z?

... the following is stolen from Dough Hayashi's site:

-----------------------

This event is sold out. In the red group, it is rumored to have the following cars entered:

10 Radicals
1 Turbo Radical
Skyline GTR - (fully race-prepped car, slicks)
Viper GTS - (full race prep, not sure what series)
GT3 Cup Car - (2004, slicks)
Trans-Am Series car - (brand new, don't know what kind (does it matter?))
Buscher Evo - (Fuller - 1:24's at Streets on RA-1's!! and I think he's bringing slicks to CS)
F360GT - (factory, slicks)
Wurth Ultima (350hp, DOT-R)
K&N Ultima (650hp, slicks)
The Flamemobile
S2000 - (Hazelton, slicks)
S2000 - (Kennedy, slicks)
S2000 - (Rauch, slicks)
RSX - (slicks, 450hp)
Van Diemen
Lister
All American Racers Gurney Eagle F1 (1970)
996TT - (slicks)
Swift
Formula Zetec
Factory Nissan 350Z Grand Am - (Maybe Boris Said)
Factory Nissan 350Z Grand Am Car #2
Factory Nissan 350Z Grand Am Car #3

Also, rumor has it that the JGTC guys will be practicing for an hour during the Speed Ventures lunch, and and after the event. They are getting their practice in before their big event the next day. So in theory, you could see all the JGTC cars up close and personal before the thousands of people get there on Saturday.

---------------------------

Guys ... this one is going to be GOOD!

Cyall on Friday!

I will be running the Road Course at California Speedway on Friday Dec. 17 in my modded EVO RS. We are sharing the track with the JTGC drivers who will be doing some testing at mid-day in preparation for the JTGC weekend.

Folks .... I hope yall enjoyed the event, despite getting a slight elbow from JGTC, who rob'd some of our track times. It is, however, a blessing in desguise. We got to check out the JGTC cars screaming by as we relax for lunch up on the VIP area.

All in all ... just a bit tighter than usual for a Speedventure events, but I had a great time. Good to meet the Zs that showed up too ... sorry if I didn't get to meet you.

Cheers,

A great event. Running the road course at Calif. Speedway in my freshly modded EVO was incredible. Driving ***** out on more then half of the Nascar Oval just has to be experienced.

Normally I would be pizzed at missing a run session due to the practice races, but seeing the JGTC cars was so cool I didn't care. I hung around after Speedventures HPDE was over. They turned on the lights and the JGTC drivers went through their paces as we watched from the infield stands. The fastest car (IMHO) was not even Japanese, but was an Orange (Ameritech) McLaren F1.
