Default Anyone surf here?

Alright, so I'm 90% sure I'm going to trade my car for a black track 350z... But I was wondering if I can fit a shortboard in the 350z somehow. If it can.. then AWESOME. If not.. I need to find a way to transport it somehow.

When I testdrove the trunk, I wasn't even sure if I could fit my Taylor Guitar and hardcase back there. It does NOT fit in my G35 except in the back seats or to have them folded down.

You can probably fit a real short board in the passenger seat, if you slide it forward all the way and lay it back a bit... I would guess no longer than 6' though. I have fit my snowboard this way which is 157cm (5'2") with some room to spare. HTH

I have also seen people use the foam pads with strap style roof rack for longer boards in the Newport/HB area... don't know how much I like those though

I think the board is just a bit longer than 6 feet.

Always wanted to surf, but opted for boogie board as Z is not surfboard friendly.

I surf but I don't have a Z. Been surfing for 15 years. My board is 6.1 and fits in the coupe.

How did you do it? I haven't tried. My parents are buying me the 350Z.. I dont' have any money to buy a beater.. The beater money would go to a TEIN FLEX if I had it...

You can fit the board at the front passanger seat. Just roll down. I have a short board. Don't know about yours.

It ain't going to fit, guess you can put soft-racks on the Z, but why??? Catch a ride to the beach in your friends old V-Dub instead and use your car for the dates.

Awhhh bust. I'm actually getting the 350Z so I can drive it more carelessly because the interior isn't as nice as the G35 coupe. If we are still going to keep the G35c, I'll probably take that out for dates since it has leather seats and a classier interior.

my 6'8" fits in the passenger seat, put it in through the hatch, take off the headrest and let the fins down by the foot area... fits with a couple inches to spare for me
