Escape to Santa Barbara Cruise

When: Sunday, November 14, 2004, 9:00 a.m. (9:30 a.m. departure)

Where: Meet at StarBucks Coffee Shop, 5422 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Woodland Hills, CA 91367, 818.340.5053

What: The Brown Pelican Restaurant, The Mission and The Cruise

How: Topanga south, right (west) on Mulholand, left (south) on old Topanga, right (south) on Topanga, right (west) on PCH (stay 55 mph or less), right (north) Malibu Canyon Rd -> (north) Las Virgenes Road, 101N/W. (The 101 drive is about 65 miles.) Exit Las Positas, Left on Calle Real, Left on Las Positas Rd, Right on Cliff Drive. After this we will head up to the Mission.

Who: Everyone is welcome.

When will we be returning?? I have a previous commitment at 5pm in OC.

 

Hmm, depart 9:30 a.m. Drive to PCH probably 20 minutes. PCH to Las Virgines probably 20 minutes. Las Virgines to Santa Barbara 60 minutes. Brunch 90 minutes. Drive to Mission 10 minutes. Mission as long as we want (lets say 90 minutes). Drive back to start point 60 minutes.

That's about 6 hours, so figure you'll get back to the Valley by 3:30 p.m. If that's cutting it close, you can opt to skip the Mission and you would get back by 2:00 p.m.

 

Man.... you guys always have these meets when I am out of town now. What's up with that! hahaha... it's all good. I guess I'm never intown anymore. have fun!

 

I'm without a Z but I'm probalby wanting to go.... any southbay folks going to this?

My Z won't be fixed in time so will probably be riding shotgun with Risk since we both have the same place to go to that night. I hope we can do this run again down the road when I finally get my Z back.

 

It would be better if you came down to my place as it is closer to the start point

 

I'm out of the country till 11/23. So pretty much everything in November is out for me.

 

Got the car back today! I'm planning on going to this, if anyone from OC area wants to meet up for the drive up to the meeting point let me know

 

Most likely not going to make it. My wheel sponsor wants to change up the wheels so I'm not supposed to drive the "loaners" that much till we swap wheels Monday. You guys have fun!

Missed out also guys I was too tired from the Mossy show. How was it and did anyone take pics of the run.

 

It was a nice cruise. The food was great and the company was better.

I think the next get together will be JGTCUSA.
