once again adam has come through for the Z/G community. got mine today (really fast delivery mind you) and will be installing them this week. i also set up the appointment to have the car corner balanced. again, i am expecting nothing short for a LARGE improvement and will post up my subjective, non-quantitative review.

I'll be ordering a set of these from Z-1 soon since I just figured out the clicking noise coming from the back of my car(that 3 dealerships couldn't figure out) is coming from a worn out stock end link. I just wish Z-1 would give us a better deal on the price because you can order direct from Power Grid for the same price and they will sell front or rears only if need be.

In all seriousness, they would probably just refer you to us anyway. Fronts or rears can be ordered individually off our site if you want. With the package deal, we pay the shipping
aside from the TSB on the axle, it very well could be the stock endlinks, but its impossible for me to hypothesize without alot more details
Those who are waiting, the new sets should be with us in the next few days, left a little later than originally expected due to the PRI show last week - thanks for being patient and we'll email everyone tracking the second they land here!
alright everyone, i installed my endlinks a couple of days ago. if this is the inappropriate place for a review, let me know adam, and i'll ask to have it moved by a mod. this may be long. so, on with the pics first.
side by side comparo of the fronts...

side by side comparo of the rears...

there are a couple of observations that i made upon receipt inspection - i was a little surprised that the front did not come with washers like the rear. at first, i thought they were missing, then i looked at the stock pictures. also note that the nuts are self locking (zytel material), which is why i did not use loctite.
i was pretty surprised by the diameter of the adjustment rod - it is actually quite small. it is adjusted with a 7mm wrench, but isn't more than 10mm in diameter. the stock fronts were just a little larger, while the rears were significantly larger. hopefully it will be able to withstand the rigors of track days.
the joints however, are as stated, OEM quality and they are sealed which is a definite plus over the exposed joints of the others. the biggest upset for me was the lack of an engagement area for a wrench on the front links. they are present for the rear links (see last picture). this engagement area obviously keeps the link from rotating while you tighten/torque. hopefully they "revise" this. you could use an allen wrench on the 12mm thread to tighten, but you would need an extension to torque it. i got around it by tightening it down to what i thought was close, and thankfully when i put the torque wrench on it for final torque, the link did not spin.
installation was very straightforward, but the setup could be a little tricky. there are two jamnuts, and the adjustment read is threaded left and right (meaning if you tighten, you will shorten and vice versa). the reason it could be tricky is that upon tightening of the jam nut, proper alignment between the link and sway bar must be maintained parallel.
driving impressions - i will be going to buttonwillow on sunday to see how well they hold up. my car has not yet been cornerbalanced (appointment pushed to next week), but i did make the sway bars neutral, which most of you know is pretty much the purpose of this mod (or to dial in pre-load if you really wanted). after a shake down run, the car did feel neutral, however, it would definitely benefit from a corner balance, GREATLY. to be quite honest, these endlinks would only perform as they are designed if you do get the car corner balanced, and really, i am not so sure if you could tell the difference without actually taking the car to the track and pushing it to its limits. you don't really push the sways on the freeways, and canyon runs are a sunday drive compared to a track day.
all in all, they delivered (so far) and i do expect an even bigger improvement once i get the car corner balanced. from the small shakedown run that i performed after installation, turn in was slightly better (effort to turn was a little easier). i am happy. this is just the first step at setting up a suspension that works for both driver and car (which is "ideal").
sorry if this was too long, and thanks for stickin' with me!
