Can't wait to try mine out at speed. n1cK, btw I noticed in your pics it looks like you put a thin maybe SS washer on the lower end link in front - I first used the OEM washer, looked too thick. Not enough threads engaged in the derlin locknut. So, I took off the washers on lower front. Just curious if you put your own in there...what a painless install, not having to remove the old ones was a plus, too, since I was replacing the sways same time. I wasn't able to formally adjust the preload, so I just evened up the sides best as I could w/o scales and gave them what should be a very small amount of preload, just to keep things snug.

Adam, the links are awesome, yet another leap forward in the handling for my car, very solid, turn in is sharp (I finally put on my front hotchkis sway same day), and response in side to side transitions is great!

Worth every penny.

Now I just have to look at what I really want for a primary DD/occasional track use in Springs and Dampers, but that's another thread...my '91 SE-R is my primary track car and have to keep the G more streetable than track

steve, if i remember correctly, i only used what was in the kit. however, if you haven't put a washer down there, you should. just in case the nut spins, you don't want it spinning against the arm.

as far as adjusting preload, it's easy...if you had three joints between your shoulder and wrist rather than just your elbow if your car is too low, you could remove your front and rear bumper to gain better access to the endlinks.

Thanks, good advice. I'll pick up some thin washers - both the kit and oem left me a little concerned as the bolt did not reach the end of the nut, I think it should have enough threads to fully engage the nut.

The links aren't too bad to adjust but it would sure be a lot easier to get from under a drive-on rack like my alignment was done on. I have a lot of cone and right-angle wrenches from my MTB and road bike tools, even a right angle 7 for that center section.

Still, I am tempted to put a drop or two of blue loctite there after adjustment

Btw thanks for your track feedback, my backroads impressions with all of a day's use are really similar. I really like the bar/end-link combo, it's all smooth and helps keep those tires planted - I'm still getting used to that, 275 R/245F is a lot more rubber than I've had the last 4 years with the OEM 18's...but it's all good.

Well, except for the length of time tracks are open during the year in the NE, that's another subject.

it only needs enough threads to engage the delrin

there should have been a supplement to the instructions included - might have forgot to put it in yours though. The washers are only for the mount to the swaybar, they are not needed for the control arm side

Thanks. I think there was a supplement now that you mention it, sometime between opening the box and my garage I probably separated from the parts. I'll check when I'm home this weekend.

So in the front, use the washers on the sway end, not the control arm. In the front I did not put washers on the sway bar end, oops. There were two extra washers, same size/type as the rear link washers, I did not use.

In the rear, use washers on both ends, at least that's what it comes with.

Got it, I think.

Thanks for the help on AIM today I just ordered the rears a few minutes ago as they are the ones that are popping. I will pick up the fronts a little later.

Found it, dug deeper in the box. Flat washers for the sway bar end of the link - do they go on nut side (inner or toward motor side of bar end), or do they function as a spacer up front and go on the outside (toward the wheel) side of the bar?

Thanks, they're working out great!

When I pulled my rear stock links, the pivot joints on the lower ends were rough, you could feel them stick and there was a grinding feeling when you moved the pivot around. I drive the car 4x4 seasons, so no surprise, not after 45k miles and 4 years. I can easily see the OEM Links binding or breaking not to much longer than that...now, I'll make them into a wind chime or something ;D

Adam, How do you feel these compare to the SPL Endlinks. The SPL's have been receiving some great reviews as well.

I really don't think this is the appropriate question for me to answer except to say this. Just as we posted in the first thread, there is a reason this is the only endlink we offer for the Z. We even went so far as to do development work on our own unit, and part of that development included buying every available endlink from the half dozen or so units on the market worldwide. When we tested and used the Powergrid unit, we decided that this was the better mousetrap and exceeded anything else offered. When you find a winner, ya stick with it IMHO.

I put the front flat washer on the nut side of the sway - the extra page said to use on the sway end of the link, that seemed to make the most sense.
