The Be All, End All Endlink for your Z and G!!!
well, just got back from the track a couple of hours ago. the endlinks didn't break! no weird popping noises, clanking, nothing. smooth as OEM. after a full day of tracking (7 sessions at 20 minutes a piece!), everything is in one piece and the joints were still aligned (relative to the sway bar). since the sway bars were "neutralized," i didn't feel as if i was fighting the car anymore. steering feel was more responsive and the car had a quicker and smoother reaction to my steering inputs. if anyone is an avid track racer, or a weekend warrior, i highly recommend them!

thanks again Nick and glad you liked em...I knew you would! Can't wait till your post cornerbalance experience.
Any footage of you running? What were your times?
Everyone else, couple quick news updates
First, the new stocking order batch will be in our office Wednesday
Slight delay as I explained a few days ago due to the PRI show, so thanks for being patient
Second, these will NOT work with front 350Evo swaybars. I can't say why as we have 0 experience with those particular bars, but that's what Powergrid is telling us.
Third, and this one is a downer - eta for next batch is a long long way away due to some supply issues on the particular pieces we need, so if you were considering these, now is the time! I'll go over the backorder list tomorrow and update this thread with how many sets are left.
Thanks again!

any powergrid endlinks still in stock? do you have to get the car cornerbalanced? I feel dumb for asking but i really don't know... what kind of shop does that - a general performance shop or a wheel/tire shop?

yep got a few sets left in stock!
Cornerbalancing is not mandatory, but if your car has coilovers already, to really maximize the performance of the entire suspension setup, cornerbalancing after installing these endlinks would be a good idea.
Cornerbalancing is done more by suspension tuning shops. I could probably find someone in your area to have it done, as we have relationships with a few shops in the Northern VA/Maryland area with the proper equipment and knowledge.

Installed the end links on the rear of my car over the holidays. Found it to be a real PITA. To start off one of the nuts would not come of the old end link so I had to remove the bracket it mounts to that in turn mounts to the A-arm. Even after soaking it with PB Buster and heating it with a torch I almost completely destroyed the nut before it finally came off.
Then on installing the new link I when held the threaded rod with one wrench and started to tighten the first jam nut with another as soon as the jam nut seats against the end piece it spins it away from the correct 90 degree position from the mounting bracket. So then I try holding the end piece with a wrench and tightening the jam nut and the other end of the link moves out of position. You need three hands to hold everything in alignment while tightening the jam nut. I finally got the jam nuts tight with each end of the links in a fairly good position so they have the maximum amount of movement. There is very little room to get at the rear links with wrenchs so if I were to do it again I would get a couple of nuts the same size that come with the end links but without the thread-locking inserts. Temporarily install them with these nuts and get the correct length adjusted on the car, finger tighten the jam nuts and then remove the links and fully tighten the jam nuts then re-install with the provided nuts.Sound like a lot of extra work but believe me it saves from a lot of frustration.
The clicking sound from the back of my car(that couldn't be fixed by three trips to the dealers and has drove me crazy for the last three years) is now gone.
