Twin Cities Z/G Photo Tag
I mentioned the timed rally event to a friend at work who does similar events with his cycling community. He suggested a Photo Tag game that is similar to others I've seen posted on many auto/cycle enthusiast forums. I thought it might be fun to try in our Z/G group. Hopefully there will be some interest and we can all have a little fun driving to new destinations! Here is a basic rule set I borrowed and modified from his group.
Rules (gotta have 'em):
Post a photo of your Z/G parked by a local landmark. The next person to post a photo of the same landmark with their Z/G earns the right and responsibility to post the next photo.
1. The goal of this is to have cool places to visit, not to stump your Z/G brethren with some out of the way mole hill. So to that end, all landmarks must be one of the following kinds:
a. Unique non-mobile man made structures larger than a 1958 Chevy Impala. (ie nothing that moves)
b. Unique inorganic landscape features that are larger than the original Minnesota governor’s mansion. (ie nothing too small)
c. Unique organic landscape features must be larger than the Minnesota State Capitol. (ie no trees)
2. All restaurant tags must include a second photo of the dish eaten there. (you might entice someone to get there faster!)
3. All tags must be within 75 miles of the State Capitol (up for discussion if we want to widen out the distance if this catches on)
4. Tags that last more than a week with no one being able to identify or find the tag are considered annoying and the poster is to be ridiculed by the Twin Cities Z/G community. So after one week, the current tag expires and the next tag is fair game for anyone to post and replace it.
5. Drivers that don’t post a new tag within 24 hours of earning the right to post, are to be considered *******. They should be reminded repeatedly of their status until they post a new photo.
6. When posting the follow up photo, post the street address or directions how to get there so that the rest of us can enjoy a drive to it as well.
7. Follow up photos must me taken after the original tag; no digging through your archives!
8. Posting using smartphones from the field is strongly encouraged!
9. Tag will be put on hold when the snow flies since so many peeps store their vehicles over the winter.

Soo, since I always pass this on my way home I guess I'll start! Was going to post another landmark as mine by oakdale but I'll just find something else cause it might be too hard since most people aren't in the sTP burbs

You're doing it wrong. Dave you need to post a pic of your car at the same location as the last pic, then post a new pic of your car in another new location to find.
Since Jotham posted the correct pic he now has 24hrs to post a new pic of his car at new spot that someone needs to go to and copy his pic.
Edit: And you didn't eat there Dave lol per rule #2.
