I love the T5, you are making a great choice. the only thing to remember with Advan is they use only full inch sizings for our bolt pattern, not 1/2 inch, so you need the more agressive offsets to match the +22 18x9.5 volks for example.

You will need spacers IMO to get an aggressive stance. though a +20 offset on a 9/10 combo isn't bad (it's basically what I have, though I do want it slightly more aggressive)

They only offer:

18 x 9.0 - 114.3 22/35/45

18 x 10.0 - 114.3 27/42

19 x 9.0 - 114.3 22/35/45

19 x 10.0 - 114.3 27/42

you will need a spacer for the +27 rear no matter what IMO, so order them along with the wheels. get a +10mm spacer.

and stick to the split five spoke... the multi spoke I have decided does not look right on a Z. (again, my opinion only)

thanks for all that info tom... you're the man.

not very many people have these wheels on the forum. that makes it really difficult to decide on a finish (they have several) since there's a lack of real-world pictures.

i'll have to skim through other car forums to see if i can find more pics of different colors.

your car is Magnetic black IIRC, and Advan offers: Bright Chrome, Shine Silver, Dark Silver Metallic, Bronze.

subdued, classic style: shine silver, dark silver

racier: bronze

flashier, stuntin' car: chrome (I like the chrome on this rim FWIW, and it's not actually 'chrome')

With Advans you will have to wait... a fairly long time if you decide on a color not in stock in the US, and the T5 is limited stock usually due to it's status. the Chrome is special order I saw on mackin's site.

here are the colors:

chrome

dark silver

bronze (almost a gold-bronze)

silver

here is the bronze (it isn't a very dark bronze) on a black NSeX:

That bronze is sick. But I think matte black would look good on Robs car.

that would look very good as well, but alas black of any color is not offered in the T5. though I am sure you could custom order it.

and also... all black is nice, but seems to get veery boring.

I am not feeling chrome on a car. Maybe for a SUV 2 years ago?
why are you getting rims without lips?

Just my opinion, but good luck with your choice.
