Default Mobile Dyno available @ our June 25th meet

As you may already know, June 25th marks the next official DFW G35 Owners Club meet and Car Show. (All 350Z's are welcome.) If you weren't aware, go here: http://g35driver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52535

Anyhow, an attraction we've been authorized to have is a mobile chassis dyno from a company called DYNOTEX. They will come to us and dyno as many cars that are interested the day of the meet.

These are the details:

3 pulls WITH air/fuel readings for $65 each on a DynoJet dyno. Now, I know some of you have dyno'ed elsewhere and received your pulls for less, but remember, they're coming to US and it costs to travel to our meet location and staff the rig to facilitate US.

In order to meet their event requirements, we need AT LEAST 15 G's/Z's to sign up AND put a deposit down (deposit info soon to follow). If you are interested, please sign up in this thread. As soon as I have the minimum number of people signed up, it will be official.

COME ON! This is your chance to show your fellow G/Z owners how powerful your ride is!

Please go to this link to sign up;

lol, 65 dollars is unreasonable, at least for a group rate. I can't believe these guys are trying to rip you off like that. The mobile dyno was built specifically for the purpose of doing events like this. The same exact company didthe mobile dyno for 10-15 dollars apiece at the denton dragway last week, 3 pulls and printouts and will be back once to twice a month on test and tune night.
I didn't mean to go off like that, but its ridiculous that these guys are charging that kind of rate for a possibly huge group of cars.

If you are not mistaking and it is in fact DYNOTEX that has these rates, I agree...however, I seriously doubt, unless they are/were doing it for potential business purposes (to get their name known for other events), that they could afford to run $10-$15 runs and stay in business...it's just not resonable...I've put in a call to them and will wait for their reply on this matter. Thanks for your concern and I will keep you updated.

Yeah, I am sure it was 15$, I know you probably dont believe me so I am going to post my dyno sheet with their name on it. Also, I understand that they might have been paid to come out there by the drag strip, b/c 15$ is cheap as hell for a dyno. What I dont get is why they cant charge just 40-45 for as many people that you have on that dyno list, I looked at it on G35driver and you have a decent amount to be a good group rate.

I would have the link to the site for denton dragway but it changes every weekend. I had the dyno last week. I know these guys are showing up in May a weekend or two, I will keep you posted as to when. I didnt want to sound rude, but I thought 65 was ridiculous especially with as many people as you have, just trying to save you guys some money

If it was $15, I'm sure the track paid them to be there. As far as charging $45 and expecting a long line of people...it takes, on average, 30 minutes to fully prep, dyno and drive the car off of the dyno trailer. So he is limited to the number of cars he can fit into any given schedule. If you're interested, sign up, if not, I'll see you at the meet anyway.
