Default Dyno Day in Dallas Ft. Worth

I'm setting up a dyno day for the Z Club of Texas at Lone Star Performance in Garland. They have a dynojet and were the first in Dallas to install ATI prochargers on the G35's. They have also done a number of Vortec SC's as well so they do know a little about Z's.

If we get 15 cars its $45 for 3 pulls with air fuel. 20 cars and its $40.

Please let me know if you are interested and I will put you on the list for Saturday April 30.

Whoa Dude,
that's a great price !
It will be interesting to see how many "highly modified" cars go home dissappointed
Those dyno's are brutal...and the numbers don't lie !

Wish I could make it up for this event...sounds like fun !
Good luck with it Warren. Show'em how us "older guys" do it !

I hope we can get some interest to make this happen.
I did a baseline dyno and tuned my exhaust last week so I can compare the stock 2003 plenum to a new 2005 one that I am polishing and porting. I'm going to get it flow tested as well. Should be interesting.

I'd be there if it were just one week earlier. I will be out of town on the 30th.

I'm in for sure. I wish that I had stock dyno numbers on my car. When I purchased it it already had Nismo exhaust, nismo headers, nismo sway bars, nismo suspension so I wont know how much (if any) hp I gained. Oh well, I will still be there to see what I put down.

I got my 2005 lower plenum airflow tested.
On the back side (high end of upper plenum) it flowed 247.5 CFM @ 28" H2O
On the front most outlet (lower end of upper plenum) it only flowed 226 CFM.

I'm almost afraid to see what the numbers look like on my 2003 lower plenum. When I'm done porting and polishing the inside of the 2005 lower plenum and polishing the inside of an upper plenum I will get them tested again. Then I will put the new set up on my car and flow test the 2003 lower plenum.

Can't wait to get this all done so we have some real data.
I also have a recent baseline dyno and will dyno the ported 2005 plenum. Unfortunately I don't have the time or energy to dyno it in its stock form.

We need 4 or 5 more to sign up for the dyno day or we will have to cancel. Didn't anyone do any upgrades over the winter that need to be tested????

Hey Guys it seems like this thread has kind of died down so I am not sure if it will still be on? If so let me know. If we can work out a rescheduleing that would be awesome. I need to get a baseline for the Z. HEHE

I ended up having to move out of one place and into another over the weekend so I couldnt attend. I would be very interested if it was going to be rescheduled.

well, since this was cancelled, if any of you are going to the G35/Z official meet on June 25th, check out this thread for the mobile, that's right, mobile chassis dyno we plan to have there. It's not $45, but then again, they ARE coming to us. https://my350z.com/forum/texas/121091-mobile-dyno-available-our-june-25th-meet.html

Or you can meet and cruise to the speedtek dyno day in haltom City. Its about an hour drive from Allen, TX. (Straight down 121) They do it once a month. Its 35.00 3 pulls with A/F. If anyone wants to do it pm me and I can get you some info. Doesnt matter how many cars show up.

I dynoed my Cobra last sat. Around 12:00 they cookout with hamburgers/hotdogs (free), always have drinks, and if you request they will use a huge fan for the intakes in the bumpers.

Let me know. If this happens I will dyno the olds mans 350Z.
