Just picked up an '03 SS performance 2 weekends ago and when I went to pick it up found a multitude of bolt ons already done to it. What I found... tein coilovers, borla catback, looks like high flow cats, crawford z plenum and front strut bar, 350evo rear sway bar, and a ground wiring kit. The car has a powertrain warr till 60K and I'd just like to find a mod friendly dealer that might be able to give me something in writing saying these bolt ons won't void the warranty should something go wrong. you dont need a letter of writting...just make friends with a tech...thats what i do..he gives me $10 oil changes, $15 differential changes, a new tranny..and he said even though im getting a turbo installed he can still hook me up with everything under warranty...you gotta make friends....my "friend" is at mcdavid nissan, off of 45 south.good people there....on the se part of houston too..

 

That's actually the one I went to and asked the service rep for something in writing. I am just concerned that something will happen like that guy whose motor blew and he thought all was cool with his tech and then ended up getting screwed. Maybe I'm just being paranoid. Do you live down there? I actually live in an apartment complex down the road from that dealer.

i would rather not say his name, but hes cool as :ding: yes, i live close to the dealer. i live right off of blackhawk and hughes, if you know where frazier elementary is, im there....i dont see why we cant hook up with him and work something out. like i said, hes taken care of me when i had my spec-v and now he takes care of me and my z...
