There is a slight chance I might be moving to Austin Texas next year.
Are there any tracks out there? Are they any good?
What's the Drag Racing and Z culture out there?

The best track in the area, IMO, is San Antonio Raceway. Depending on what part of Austin and what time of day you leave, it's about 1-1.5 hours drive away. There is a pretty big turn out to the Import Shootout hosted at SAR. The summer months are not as popular due to the higher temps, but that doesn't stop a lot of people.
The Capital Z of Texas club is an active club. The president of the club posts as doodz on this site. The Texas Z Fest is the next BIG club event. The website for the club is here.
The 350Z owners used to be fairly active on this site. Way back when, Austin had more 350Z meets than anyone. But that has changed. A lot of the original owners/active members have moved on to other cars.
I still try to put together events but the turn out from the 350Z community has been pretty bad. But I haven't given up. There are few newer members that have shown interest. Most of the events I put together are small and model agnostic. The CZOT does more Z centric events for those looking for that type of opportunity.

If you do move to Austin, you will love it. Fortunately, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and College Station all have different tracks and events each quarter/year.
The Z club in town is called the Capital Z of Texas.
I just went to my first meeting last night and it is a great bunch of friendly folks. There is a diverse group of members, in regards to cars, gender, race, age etc. It is a great group. There were probably 6 350s there last night...
Good Luck.
