jesus, you didn't get the guy's license plate number huh... If you did, not only would he get a ticket for having open items fly out of his truck but his insurance would cover you. Sorry to hear bro. P.S. use your spare if you cannot find a rim to borrow.

That sucks, Ben. I'm sorry to hear.

I had a similar situation as you but I was lucky in my case to have had two really kind witness chase down the truck (who fled from the scene) and come back to the site of the accident and proivde me with the information. I had their insurance company cover the damage.

You do know there is a full size spare under the rear hatch you can use until your new rim comes in.

I tried to read the license plate but he was increasing speed & I on the other hand was coming to an immediate stop....

Oh and what a lovely day for this to happen...I think I my butt cheeks are frozen together after spending all that time removing the wheel and installing my spare.

Ya I have it on now...I just travel about 40 miles a day round trip for work and I hate that damn spare tire...if all else fails I will just end up using it.
