Who all is going to the Z convention in Dallas?
There will be more than just two. I think registration is around 400 people right now. If you like Z's, this is something you don't want to miss. The father of the 350Z, John Yukawa (sp?) will be there, along with lots of nissan and nismo brass.
i would lik to go for the Z convention but i cant ake the time off during the week but ill be up there for the weekend at the end of the week. Maxus 06 is in dallas also. its the national nissan maxima meet, if you can you'll should hang around. http://www.forums.maxima.org/forumdisplay.php?f=82

Anyone want to meet up and caravan to the car show on Wednesday??
We may even be able to park near each other and hang out. Depends on
how they are parking everyone. (i.e. class, category etc.)

all my vacation time is spoken for later in the year. the events this year should be better than previous years with the track day at motorsports ranch and the car show on sunday and the dyno runs on saturday. the hotel set aside is completely booked so the turn out should decent if nothing else.!!! they are still Nissan's so i still support.

Yeah, but wait until I install a working distributor
I want to see if your new fangled Z can keep up with my old, beat up 86. I bet I can take you off the line, and keep you behind. If not, I am sure my wife's 84 will just pull on you. Sad to say, but my roadster is likely my slowest Z. For now....
The shop (300+ Parts and Performance) that is installing the stereo is nearly done. Maybe I can get them to install a turbo kit on my roadster.

94 firehawks were faster than that. Mid to high 13's were common. I ran a 13.6 on my first pass with the car when the it was stock. I am not much into drag racing (road racing/autox is my thing), but a low 12 should be easy in my hawk.
