Default Next mod?

I got the bug now. I just instalelled my JWT popcharger the other night and i love it. Bad *** sound in the higher RPMs and a noticeable gain in power.....My question is what is the next mod i can do for around $200 that will produce similar noticable gains? Also will a test pipe do anything? i have no clue what that is either.

my next mod will be a plenum spacer, that is in your price range.. Wouldnt do test pipes, will sound raspy, maybe High flow cats, but that will be more around $400..

na is $$$ ... so if you want to keep throwing money at it for little gains (6, 15.. so on) then stay on the NA path, but if you want big gains (100,150) go FI.

Well he just got the pop charger, so i doubt hes going FI.. Other than my Pop charger, from now i will only buy mods that will work with a turbo as well.. Just in case, i finally decide to get it..

5/16 MD plenum spacer would be your best bet.

i got my crawford upper plenum for $200 used from a friend, its works very nice, except you cant keep you factory strut tower bar on, but i didnt notice any diff in handling.
Gryphin is all about the save now and by something real nice later, its a good idea, but very hard to do.
good luck man

Yes, the plenum spacer would be a good addition. If you get test pipes, I would get the exhaust first. But that is just me.

intake--> intake manifold --> test pipes + exhaust--> headers-->engine management---> cams, shims

thats how i would do a mild NA car. itll probably get you to 285whp.

the motordyne's spacers are definitely a good way to go.. although they're a tad bit over 200.. more so if you get iso-thermal or copper iso-thermal.. also they had a sale for the MREV2 which is now over.. that was cheaper than the spacer while the sale was on.. only a 130ish ppl got them as of right now.. but anyway, for spacers, I'd go with motordyne..

plenum spacer from MD is good or if u got the "rev up" motor like mine just save up and get the MREV i hear nothing but good things... the best part is it looks bone stock so when someone asks to pop ur hood u could just say u got an air intake...

1. How easy would it be to install a plenum myself ( Im not a retard Im pretty good at figuring stuff out if that helps)
2. What about underdrive pulleys?( or is it not worth it)
3. What is a rev up motor?

its not hard to install the plenum spacer and if u can get access to like a few tools that are on the instructions its really straight forward on the instructions... my friend has a 03' performance Z and we put it all together in like an hour and 15 minutes... its not that difficult. the "rev up" motor is for some 05' manual 350Z's like the track and grand touring and for all the 06' manual transmission models and it has 300hp and 260 torque at the crank. it also raises the rev limiter to like just over 7k rpm

I have had my car for two weeks and I know what you are talking about. I put an AEM cai the day after and then the next day I put a skunk2 spacer on and put down 244hp and 229lbs.
