I believe I wrote that "useless" could be construed as "dumb". I am not saying the thread was dumb. That was somebody else.

"and... now... i never said that EVERYONE has taken their cars apart... to quote AND repeat myself... for those that can't read..."

I stand corrected. What you wrote was: "b/c people on this forum have generally taken every part of their cars apart..." That is an opinion with no basis in fact. My opinion, also with no basis in fact, is that people on this forum have NOT generally taken every part of their cars apart. We are both entitled to our opinion(s). I respect your opinion. I just don't have to agree with it.

"and if you really don't like it then just leave the freakin thread and quit posting... since it's so DUMB to you..."

If you are referring to me, I did not say the thread was dumb. BTW, I'll quit posting if you will.

Probably the thing to do is for the moderators to ban further contributions to this "useless" thread. Mountains out of molehills.
first: i appologize about that... i was mixing a bunch of stuff in my head and that's what came out of it... on behalf of that my sincere apology...

second: why would i quit posting on a thread that i started? then IMO that would be not finishing something i started... and then... against my beliefs... sorry... no can do...

on your opinion... ok i see your point... i'll STFU now

thanks for clearing that up

I enjoy reading about the litte stuff people find out about our cars. Like the inside of the shift **** and the word HO on the bottom of the shifter. That is why I read these forums.

So it is not just a shift **** it is the point darenet!!!! jk

Here it the word of the day and this will justify this thread..... BUTTDART

The first day i had my Z i let my brother drive it. He had on a thumb ring that took out a chunk of the leather on my shifter... I would get a solid metal one but im afraid it would get WAY to hot to touch since i have to park in the sun at work.

What shifter did you replace it with LegionnaireZ, and hows that working out for you?

ireplaced with another stock shifter... it works great however... i see no use for the little spacer though because it still rattles... i'll take it out today maybe... i dunno... but i am seriously considering getting a titanium shifter... for one... it cools really quick... second is i am a titanium freak...

The leather Nismo **** is a good (cheap) alternative to the stock shifter.
