Default Guys, some assistance please.....

Hi guys,

I need some help here in San Antonio. I'm looking for a second opinion on a few questions I have in regards of the handling performance of my Z. Lately I've being noticing a lot of vibration inside the cabin of the Z at high speed, specially the floor pedals, the seat and some at the steering wheel. Also the rear suspension is very "tail happy" and loose, moving sideways and when changing lanes the oversteer make the car a little unstable.

I will like to meet a Z owner and exchange Z's for a test drive so he can give me his opinion on the differences in handling between the two cars and I can have my own opinion after driving his ride. I will really appreciate the help of one of you guys in this test so I can be in peace with myself if everything is okay.

Jose Miranda

you have hotchkis sways? if so, have you tried to re-adjust them? I have a lot of cabin noise but only because a lot of interior parts have come loose overtime. have you checked alignment?

Thanks for replying Solidsnake, I did took my car to the alignment shop and this is what they were able to do,

Front Camber: -1.2 degrees (Left) and -1.2 degrees (Right)
Front Toe: .08 degrees (Left) and .06 degrees (Right)

Rear Camber: -1.9 degrees (Left) and -2.0 degrees (Right)
Rear Toe: .11 degrees (Left) and .11 degrees (Right)

After I left the shop a felt the car way better but it didn't last very long, maybe a couple of days and now is back again, being very sloppy the suspension. You're right, I'm running hotchkis on my Z and no, I haven't try to adjust them. It didn't hit me doing this on the suspension, I guess because it was perfect a month ago and now is terrible. I did had an accident Solidsnakes, where I ran over a "wild hog" that cause about $2.5K in damages to my Z.

If you're wanting help, why didn't you mention this accident? Don't you think this information is important?

i would also check the balance on ur tires...might be the reason for some of the vibration u feel in the steering wheel, etc., specially when u hit higher speeds.
