I am ready to buy my Z and was interested in everyone's experience with the Nissan dealerships in this area.
Also, if I choose to buy from a dealer ship 30-50 miles away, is there any issues when trying to take the Z to a closer dealership for service? (especially since i found a Z in Austin that I am considering.)
I am looking for an enthusiast/performance model and do not want black or chrome silver. MUST be 6spd.
Everyone's input is appreciated.
Thanks ahead guys

Which car is it in Austin? For some reason, maybe it's because I'm a freak, I keep an eye on all the dealerships's Z stock here. I've seen all the Z's at South Point and know the status of about all of them. Like I can tell you the daytona blue auto touring has been on about 30 test rides
I am pretty sure people are going to tell you Courtesy Nissan in Dallas. They seem to be pretty awesome from all I hear, very jealous of them! On top of that, they can get just about any part you can imagine, and stock a lot of them, whereas you can't get a lot of the stuff they have from other Nissan dealers. Check out courtesyparts.com to check it out. Wait until someone remarks tonight/tomorrow though, I am just guessing.
If you do go through Austin at South Point, talk to Ruben Moreno and tell him I sent you. South Point sells probably 75% of the Z's around here, because we all keep referring each other to there. They are the best Nissan dealer in Austin, and Ruben has worked good deals on Z's for a lot of people.
Do not go through Town North Nissan, ask 10 Z owners in Austin and all 10 will probably tell you they will rip you off. Round Rock Nissan is OK, but they are tiny, and don't do the volume of South Point, but I think there are guys there that might work with you as far as deals go.
Hope this info helps.

I bought mine at Bankston Lewisville. Clay was a nice guy, but they kinda dropped the ball on my order. I'd reccomend Courtesy Nissan in Richardson, if it's not too far of a drive for you. I haven't heard a single bad thing about them, as I have for most of the other dealers in the area.
Service shouldn't be a problem at any of the dealerships. I got a two year service plan for Bankston's screw up with my car, but I haven't been in for any service yet, so I don't know how they'll operate.
Good luck finding your Z!

The one i found this week was at Maxwell Nissan. (spoke with Rene)
Redline
Enthusiast
6spd
$30,770
Does that sound like a good price? and does anyone know if that dealership is pretty honest / straight forward?
He got me approved for the nissan grad financing over the phone so that is seems like a good start.

I found a pikes peak enthusiast 6spd at courtesy for
$28,868 at Courtesy Nissan.
I think this is probably my #1 choice right now, second is the Redline in Austin and 3rd is a Silverstone enthusiast in north texas, ( just got an estimate price since it is due in next week of 28-30k )

well i took everyones advice and headed over to Courtesy Nissan.
Very disappointing trip.
I was ready to buy with checkbook in hand and the bastards gave me the run around saying that their system was down and they couldnt get approval till saturday.
System was down/?? So they are gonna stop selling cars for the day??
Ok so i head home and call back the next day. Now its monday before i can get "approval".
That is straight BS. So I said ok and called north texas nissan and got approved over the phone and they even gave me a performance for the price of Courtesy's enthusiast.
Well im sure they can find another buyer, but they lost me for good.
