Ok, I need some suggestions on places for dates around Dallas. I've been seeing this girl for a short while now, and there is absolutely nothing to do. Maybe I just can't find/think of anything or maybe ran out of places to go. I don't care where as long as they're within driveable distance (within an hour or so from Plano). And don't name places like movies or something so mundane. Keep in mind that these places have to be a presentable place for a date with a girl, so any place (including restaurants) that's pretty, out of the ordinary, special, great setting/mood, etc.

We've already been to (random order):
- Speed Zone
- Adventure Landing
- Zero Gravity (will go soon)
- Movie theater
- Legacy Park
- Lake Texoma
- Malls
- Karaoke
- Starbucks, Escape, etc
- Carnival (will go this week)
- Jasmine Hooka Bar

 

Try al amirs, or even better how bout your bed? Thatd be a good date, theres a sushi resteraunt in hp called rock n roll sushi thats pretty good and has a nice atmopshere.

really depends on how the girl is and what she likes. don't make it so much about where you go and what you do, make it about her. being in each other's company SHOULD be enough, if it isn't then at least make her think that i hope you don't tell her its boring and complain that theres nothing to do when you are with her. just my 2 pennies.

Ill be in Dallas on Friday and would be happy to show her a good time! j/p chris! Seriously though, a comedy club is something different and I bet she hasnt every been to one. Ive been to an Ad-Libs (www.ad-libs.com) show and it was damn funny!

 

How about a men's club or adult video store? Then you'll see what she's all about . . .

 

Go to a Benihana or Jin Beh or other similar place...those are fun.

I also like Putt Putt and the Aquarium.

You could try Body Worlds if it is still here as well. Just go eat and walk around down at the Shops of Legacy...that is usually cool.

Uhhhhh...Frisco Rough Riders games are fun. You also have soccer(futbol) games in Frisco, FC Dallas.

-1 on the Z meet thing... i know all of us would be thrilled to see more females at our z meets, but it's really not a couple's thing unless it's a major event like HIN or Hooter's Midnight Madness...

for some reason i just don't think that one girl would feel really comfortable about hanging around a bunch of other guys... (her being the only one)

Brian - Yeah, I think I'll try the comedy club.

z-u-later - This girl's Asian and is pretty damn traditional when it comes to relationships. So strip clubs and adult stores are definitely out of the question.

Nick - We've already been to those places a few times or she doesn't like it. However, Body Worlds does sound like a good idea. I'll keep that in mind for sure. BTW, I think I saw you last night in Plano going to her house.

Anthony - She doesn't like loud, sports cars, so that means she'll never be at the meets.

Combat - I didn't know you were still alive! Anyway, she's not high maintenance. She just prefers nice, quiet, comfortable, luxury cars to fast, loud, sports cars. And lately, we've just been chillin and talking, so it's not like we don't do that. Plus, she's doing work too (like making me feel better when I'm mad or sad or whatever).

Her dad is staying with her... for 3 months. I know he doesn't like me already, because I've been taking her home way too late every night.

But eh, I don't care. At this point, I'm not going to put too much more effort into it until she does the same. I just made this thread for future reference. But keep the suggestions coming. Who knows? Somebody else may find this helpful.
