i live in arlington... there are a couple right around the corner of me but i will travel ... it makes no difference to me... my only thing holding me back right now is if they will physically check to see if your driver's license is valid...
mine right now is revoked... (ticket in Keller i forgot about)
until i get this fixed i will not be able to do this unless they just need a number on record... and will not check it...
if you can find out for me please let me know... i plan on getting it fixed shortly, (next week or so) but this is coming up fast and i don't have time or money for that...maybe...

Just got mine today woo hoo! Buyin my pistol on gunbroker tonight.
Edit:
Just purchased this, if anyone is looking for an excellent pistol pick one of these up. You'll find nothing but praises about these pistols. Bought it from raytanner on gunbroker, he sells them about 100 less then anyone else that ive seen (370 shipped for 9mm version). My buddy bought a FNP40 from him a few weeks ago, I shot it and fell in love with the pistol, although I bought the 9mm version (cheaper ammo). Also they come with 3 mag's @ 16 rounds each for the nine.

Nick,
It's going to take probably 3 weeks... i have around $600 in tickets (and possibly warrants) then the tax(fee) on my license... i will have to call keller and find out for sure...
if you go before i get all this straightened... just let me know how it goes...

I will see what is going on mid July, I'll try to get it done on a Sunday around then. How does that sound?
Here are my next gun purchases.
SIG P226 x-five tactical
HK USP-CT
HK MK23 Mod 0 (yes, the real one with USSOCOM on the side, not the Mark 23) I'm going to have the correct LAM on it and the Knight's Armament suppressor.

forgot my ARs that i want to build, here are some pics of what might will resemble.
Here is a sick rifle, i want to try to copy it but with a light on the right side...which this one might actually have. Below is a Mark 23 (MK23) with a LAM/Light combo on it.
Here is one with a Sure Fire LAM/Light on it.
And another really tricked out one.
And another
OK, i'm done, before this turns into a modem burner.

^^^How was the class there, that is where i was thinking about going.
I shoot there now also, i really like outdoor ranges though...but since Collin County shut down i really don't have much choice. I could go over to Lewisville to Dallas Gun Club, i think that is really one of the only outdoor places left on the north side.

I still fail to see why the average citizen is able to own anything other than a handgun.
Sure you want to go shooting some cool looking rifle and you might not be crazy but I don't believe anyone should be able to own an assault rifle.
I'd love to have one but unless you are currently working for the government or military why the hell should you need one and who is to say you're even competent enough to own one.
Handguns fine, shotguns fine because once again they can be used for defending your house etc, but I'm sorry if someone breaks into your house an assault rifle is the most useless thing you can have to defend yourself with.

It was cool. I mean there was the few peeps asking ridiculous questions and all. But there's plenty of places to eat during lunch. Yeah I would prefer outdoors too. It gets loud and smoky. I don't like inhaling that **** for too long.

I wanted to see the affect it had on trees but I also figured that since I am not surrounded by concrete like at a firing range, that the sound of the gun would be widely dispersed and not so loud to my ears. After a few warm up shots at a tree with my ear plugs in, I took one ear plug out and fired a shot.
To my horror, it felt as if somebody plunged an ice pick into my ear. I winced and and said, 'ahhhh....fukkkkk!' My ear was rining for about 2 minutes.
That thing is LOUD!
