Default swapping 350Z stereo system - std to bose

Hi, I have an 06 350Z enthusiast model that does not come with the bose system. I know of someone who has an 05 350Z and has his bose system for sale.

Do you think it could be fitted to my Z without too much problem?

What is a reasonable - fair price for it?

also who could I get to do the install?

I live in the Houston area - Pasadena.

Too much of a PITA for what it would cost.

I would rather do an upgraded system than to a stock bose ...

Had the bose system in my first Z (03 touring). Have just an aftermarket head unit in my 06. Bass is pretty much on par with old bose unit of the 03 with more clarity. Dude, just upgrade.

I think the Bose is a pretty decent system for stock, but for the effort of installing an all new system I would go aftermarket.

Unless you just really want it to look stock.

The Bose system is nice, but if your going to go through the trouble in changing your audio system your better off just getting aftermarket speakers and subwoofers.

Not worth it. The Bose system isn't that good anyways. Just get some nice aftermarket stuff

i have the Bose unit and it's nice but not all that great, compared to plain stock it sounds much better, but like the rest have said if your going to swap just go after market, there are plenty of people selling aftermarkets for not too much more than the Bose unit...

A nice touch screen kenwood DDX would do much better...

I'm currently having trouble sqeezing all the potential out of my current Sub set up due to incompatibility or sub standard aux output from bose...

not worth it...
