Houston: Best banh mi spot?
Went down to Houston to clean up a rental house this weekend, ate some banh mi from Lee's Sandwiches. Where else is good?

One and only bro. My cousins brought me some too. And they were very tasteful...lol, its no rib-eye steak, but damn...they were good. Lee's Sandwiches.

What the hell is banh mi? From everyone's responses, it sounds delicious.... and I wanna eat it!!!
Could I get a pronunciation as well please. I'll just end up looking like the country retard in the city.

I think Lee's is probably the best in houston. Don't know of any other good ones.
And the best one in Dallas, or garland for that matter, would be Quoc Bao on Walnut and Jupiter.

I'm going to have to give Don's a try. I've bought sandwiches from Givral's which is behind Don's in the same parking lot. They tasted okay.

lol, its kinda funny. the owners of Don used to work for Givral. there was some kind of falling out between them, so a few of them quit and bought that spot right in front of Givral. needless to say i followed the folks that made the food.... before i knew this i was heading to givral, then i see the lady with the curly hair wave me down, lol
