Stock summer tires (to be replaced this summer with an undetermined tire) and Dunlap Winter Sport M3s on the car right now.

All-season. Falken ZE912. 40K warranty. Great traction. We had snow and freezing rain this week and no big deal.

I vomit uncontrollably when I see a Z rockin all seasons. I drove the Z (had to, was at school for the week getting the rear end replaced) in some snow/slush with the KDW's on. was fine. you can drive summer tires in crap winter weather if you know car control and have a set. just dont take it when the snow is actually piling up...if it is you shouldnt have the Z out anyhow.

Those are summer tires. I used to have them on my rears until I replaced them.

I know I'm not in Houston (Dallas here), but I've only gotten summer tires for mine. However, I got a really great deal on Goodyear F1 all seasons, so that's what I have on the fronts now.

Summer..
I have had Dunlop SP9000's, and Sport Maxx tires. Both were great, have no trouble in rain and life on the tires is good. They can be some what $$$, but then again most of the tires we run are.
Houston weather is nuts, but we never get real winter here, Snow is a one day occurence every 10 yr; and Summer tires don't mean they can't handel rain. Summer tires just don't do well under cold, and what we call cold in nothing to the guys up north.
My $0.02.
