Trying to get as much of the Dallas Z group down to Texas Motorplex in Ennis, for their Friday Ultimate Street Night 6/27/03 TOMORROW!!

Sorry for the last minute word but just found out I have the evening off!!! As of now, we have Chazz, jooklum99, and hopefully a few others from the board.


I know most of you have not been out there before so what we can do is meet up for food somewhere in Dallas then cruise down there together. Let us know what you think?

I may go if we go out early enough. I would want to start the trip around 5:30p. I have a meeting Sat. morning at 6a.

 

We may not be able to head out until 7 or 8pm, due to some getting out of work a little later. You should still come out anyways. You'll be able to hack it Saturday morning.

I'm game, what time should we meet up and where. A cheap bite to eat before hand is fine with me. How about meeting at lets say 8:30pm to eat?

Quick, question though it says "Drivers running 13.99 or quicker MUST have a helmet". What's the deal with that? Not saying my rookie *** will hit those times.

 

Hmmm... Sounds fun, I have to work at 7am on Saturday, and then make a 5 hour drive when I get off at 7pm, so I will see. How far away is the track from Plano, and where is the meeting spot.

Nevermind about the local of the track, I looked at there website....

Dont worry about that, i have seen Cars run in the 12 with no Helmet. one thing, you do have, to have long pants on. NO SHORTS

The track opens at 8pm and we can run till 2am

The Humpperdink's on i-35 and Northwest Highway @ 8:30, if that is cool with everybody else its fine with me. If you have another Idea where to meet (Scott) post it

Ricky--I'd love to go, I'll just have to check with hubby first. He may even bring his car out to get a feel before he puts his cam in next week. I know where y'all are meeting (it's right by my office), so if I can make, I'll be there no later than 8. If I can't, maybe I'll be able to catch ya next time!

And Scott--bring a helmet, just in case! If you break into the 13s with no helmet, they WILL NOT let you run again. They don't care if it was a fluke 13.99--it's a rule they've been sticking to VERY strictly the past few years.

that is wierd, maybe we just got away with out one, but then again it was the NOPI Race Wars. Does anybody HAVE a Helmet????

 

Yes, being my first time and all I have no helmet nor do I know the first thing about it. Not that I think I will run under 14, but you never know. Thanks for the warning about the pants thing, I would have probably worn shorts.

Humperdinks is cool with me, so I will meet you guys there at 8pm.

 

With your Dyno # you should be in the 13s no Prob

 

Combined with my driving skills I should be in the 14's

 

I have three helmets, I will bring them all if I make it. I will probably get out there right at 8 so that I can let my car cool down before I run.

 

I will not be at Humperdinks (at least that one, lol), but I will be there tonight.. Looking forward to meeting some dfw'ers

hey guys, i live in bedford. i love the Z i just dont own one... anyways, i was wanting to come out there and watch you guys run. maybe even talk with a few people about the car. im not going to even think about running since i have a 98 Sierra (truck). u guys mind if me and maybe a friend come out?
