Oh and i like the first pic better. Seems to me the background is still some attention from the subject in teh 2nd picture.

And you're right.... I was turning into more of a picture instead of photography.

I really like the mood in the second pic though. hmmm.

 

I agree i like the first picture better something about the height of the photo but i do like the feel of the second so maybe give it that warm tone to the first pic and i think you will have a great photo not that it isnt already

I think the first one has more interest and also has a better exposure. Looks like you might have used a flash for some fill. The second one is too contrasty.

Over all nicely done.....looks like a great day at the Ft.Worth Zoo. That Zoo is the best one I've ever been to, except for the San Diego Zoo.

I do have to say though....some of those look as if you were at the regular Z meet !! I thought I recognized some of them pics as Z members.

 

What kind of camera? Really nice pictures. What zoo is this?

 

I want to say shes still rocking a Nikon d70. No idea on lense though check exif data.

 

This needs some Caturday chops.
