Default Houston area windshield replace?

Driving on I 45 today, the car infront of me ran over something and kick it up right into my windshield. It pretty much pwned my windshield.

Anywho, any one know of any good places and how much it would cost?

Did a little seaching, and some people swear by the mobile Safelite, while others insist on staying away from them.

Well I end up going to UNI-Glass, honestly from first sight, it doesn't look all that great from the outside. lol. It was actually pretty busy but it only took them less a hour to get it done.

I was watching the guy the whole time, and it seemed like he worked on 350z before. In the end, I was satisfied, and they did a great job. Good price too, $150, as Jr4atkins stated, thanks buddy.

My windshield with crack. Looked like a spider lol.

The process of removing replacing.

New Glass on, almost done.

Yay, no more crack.

Only thing I would comment is when he took the pillars off, 1-2 of the plastic clips broke. They are arrowed in the picture. But I didn't bother me to much, I would probably broke more if I took them off. ha.

I had to get a new windshield not 3 weeks ago. I went to a little place off of 59N and Hopper called Uni-glass and glass, install and taxes was $150.00.

Nothing really, they only take cash. They don't have a credit card machine. After I arrived it took roughly 45 minutes to complete the replacement. I kept waiting for the guy to get a heat gun out to take the stickers off... he walked over with a razor blade and within a minute had them off and on the new shield. Over the weekend I will see if I can find their number and PM it to ya.

My situation with safelite was BAD.. I would first ask the shop if they know how to work on 350Z's. Plus it isn't a bad Idea to watch the guy performing the work.

i had mine done at affordable autoglass off hillcroft and 59...took a little while because my windshield hadn't arrived at their location yet so i sat around for about an hour and then when it arrived they had already taken off my original windshield so it only took about 30 mins to replace.
