Personally, I'd go completely stock first (kind of too late now since you got springs), then as you mod go back again to see how much the mods are actually helping in terms of performance. Dyno numbers don't mean jack. This is the only way I test out my mods.

ya, dynos are good and all, but its not real life since your car isnt going anywhere. what is the pricing for a few runs down the track? and is there anything special i might need? it sounds like i just need the proper clothes: pants, shirt, shoes.

$15 for test and tune days to run your car.. $10 if you like being a cheerleader on the side.

Things to keep in mind:
-shoes (full)
-pants (long)
-no a/c on (if you're running)
-helmet (13.99 and faster)

ok thanks. ya the biggest thing for me is long pants. the no a/c is to keep water from dripping on the track i assume? and i wont be running faster than a 13.99 so no helmet, which is good.

At any rate, I'm most likely going to go on the 15th (if I don't work), since it's the last one before my gf comes back and school starts back up.
Got the car back but lets just say I'm good at breaking things.

Eh, you'll be fine. And yes, water on the track + slicks = death (literally). I know you won't be, but others might so I thought I'd throw that out there.

You want to tell me what's up or do I have to force it outta ya? You never took it down the strip with the SC. I want to see it fly past me at the strip with the twins.

Chris you can count me in on the 15th. I really want to get on the track before the end of the season. I will just put the DRs on and drive to work and then leave from here to the track.

Travis, remember that I said my attendance is pending work. I'll find out my schedule this upcoming Friday (for the Friday after). I usually don't work Fridays, but if unlucky, you might be going alone.

BTW, can I borrow your DR's? What brand and size are they anyway?

If there is a good number of people going, then we'll meet up in Richardson and cruise down there together.

If there are only a few people going, then we'll probably just meet up at the track. We can still meet up, if you want.

I take either 45 or 35, depending on whichever I think is faster at the time. If you're going for sure, Travis and I could probably meet you up - or at least I can.

Mackie, bring a car to race or die. BTW, when did you get a bike and what bike (pics)?
