so i know some of you guys and i know alot of people don't know me here...

but i figured i'd share my pain with you guys. my car was broken into last night. nothing really missing other than my cd's and some change in my change holder. but its still kinda shitty.

That sucks man. Had it happen to me before too. Hopefully the HU wasn't damaged. How did they get in?

 

the hu is fine. i started the car and everything ran like normal. its mostly cosmetic. i'm super surprised they didn't break into my jeep as well... it has a really nice alpine hu in it.

yeah it was kids... school is about to start in a few days and kids are trying to get their last minute trouble in. the officer that took my report said they have had 100 of the same calls in the last week. blah.

and trust me guys i don't live in a bad area at all. i live in seabrook, tx. right next to kemah. LOL but whatever. i'm just glad its cosmetic ya know.

 

sounds like a junk yard visit to replace the center dash section....

i actually know of a junk yard here in DFW that has one..well, depending on year..

my z was broken into also! yesterday.. it was really bad. broke both my handles. chipped the roof around my window. shattered the window. broke my screen. dents on my doors and pillars.. over 8 grand in damage..

 

DAMN, I'm kinda glad I live in BFE...less thieves.

yea middle of the day.. got back to my car after work and it was phucked..

 

damn man sorry to hear about all the damage. i consider myself lucky... just a window and center console. and window tint of course.

mine happened on sunday night. since a slight rain storm hit last week the lights have been out that light up the back of our condos. each one of the residence have called about it. but nothing has been done thus far. suppose i need to call again. its litterally pitch black outside.
