Thx fellas on the lights - took a whopping 30 mins to swap out...lol...it was cake, literally PnP..

 

Yay the repair guy is here to fix my tv.... again lol. Hopefully he can get it this time. I'm tired of staring at a 55" paperweight.

 

If you want to ride in it when its done just ask man, hell we can beat a zr1 toghether

It's a samsung led. The repair guy said on warranties they have to try to fix the least expensive parts first, which in this case cost them more money. They replaced the power supply and that didn't work, then they replaced coteol board and that didn't work and finally they replaced the entire screen and problem solved. I guess it was kind of a process of elimination thing. They had to keep ordering parts and setting up a new date to come out to my house so it was like a two week delay between "repairs". One week for the part to get shipped in and one week wait for my appointment. Ended taking like six damn weeks to fix it. I essentially have a brand new tv now. He said the only real component in the tv that isn't new now is the speakers lol.

 

WIN...you basically got a brand new TV then! awesome!

 

They should have given you a loaner until they get yours fixed and working.

 

That wouldve been nice lol. Ir was funny, my room mate put his little 19" tv on a stand in front of my tv and service was like wow your plan b looks like picture in picture lol
