that sucks, the cop should have let the passenger move the car.

People leave their cars parked in front of stores all the time with children or nobody in the car. You at least had a passenger.

Wow I would have SERIOUSLY been fired. Were you polite to the cop, tell him you thought you were doing nothing wrongful and that you seen it done many times with no problems. Damn that sucks....... Must of caught him on a bad day, really surprised gave you guys a ticket with someone in the car without asking to move. It's the car, jealous bastards

I heard on the radio that Dallas was going to start craking down on this. Was it in Dallas or Lewisville?

was this a "just going inside right quick" situation? That sux... Im glad I never do this..I would rather walk a little bit than get a 250 dollar ticket... I never knew how much the ticket was.. now I do.. I hope you get this resolved..

what was the ticket for? im guessing illegal parking violation, because i doubt its impeeding traffic since most of the time store fronts are not roads...

its not a moving violation right?

if so, pay it and be done.....live and learn....

Fire lane is "No Parking" you probably see a driver sitting in the front seat with the hazards on while the passenger runs in, as long as someone is in the drivers seat and the car is running it is called "Standing" and that you can do in the fire lane, if there is not a person in the drivers seat, the car is parked illegally

I'm from Midland, TX... There seems to be no activity whatsoever here. Or in the surrounding cities (odessa, tx) or towns.

I'm thinking of going up to Dallas one of these weekends to chill with other Zs...
