Thx Scott for helping me with the Tranny last night...We both looked at the throwout bearing and it was perfect...ok, whatever.. looks like the culprit is the pressure plate after all (what I originally said it was). I hope a new one gets shipped to me ASAP...I want to be done with this car so bad.

We did manage to figure out a small issue with Scotts car.. He was pulling a code with NO CEL ?????? Ended up being knock sensor.. Easy fix..

Wow, Jake sounds like you have been getting whooped by this clutch install....but I'm glad you have it figured out.....sorry it's been a thorn in your side. I know how frustrating that shiet can be. I wish I could have helped out and learned something new.

Good thing you found a code on Scotts car....why wouldn't it sense that and put the CEL on ? Just curious ???

I think I'm gonna get me a code reader....i found one at Napa for like $ 140.00 and if I can clear my code with it then I'll be happy. Never found that software at R1 Concepts from your buddy the other day....plus I have Mac's and I would need to get the Window's 7 installed on whatever I will be reading it with. Grrrrr

 

Chris- Do you know anyone with an updated version of windows that has the cd? If so we can dual boot and upload it on your mac... I have it done to mine. Best of both worlds.

I have no idea why its not throwing the cel. But it sure feels like its pulling timing way back. I have a slight miss at ideal, and it runs ok under part throttle but if you step on it, it falls flat.

Part comes in sometime thursday afternoon. So i'll probable start late afternoon if your interested. Thks

codes came back REAL quick too...car acted ok for a second, then bogged down almost like limp mode but not so severe..
