gonna get the V2 again in poly urethane and keep the same look. Cant find another look i really like other than going full V3. the IPL G37 is sweet but couldnt find one in an automatic lol.
Umm how do you think all my customer cars with 6mt get moved around the shop. Unlike all the fools on driver I know how to drive a stick. Prelude is a 5spd
I have 8.5 in the front on 245 and 275 rear on 9.5 and they are the same tires, maybe thats my issue right. You will have to take my Z for a spin and see for yourself. They worked miracles on my DSM but hey not like that thing had much weight, 2980lbs with me and full tank of gas, I knocked out 12.1 on those tires and front wheel drive, I never thought anything could come close to its handling, the Z can't and I'm looking to change that. Its seems with the sway bars there is a lot of rotation, like I can step out at will on a corner
Well the beauty of it all is that there are SO MANY factors that come in to play with handling. I've had the same wheels and tires on for 4 years of owning the Z. The Hotchkis sways made a big difference in stiffness and overall better handling. Also, what really surprised me were camber settings. I bought the car with stock camber parts, but I put on Eibach Pro-Kit springs and drove like that forever (got alignment close enough). The specs were something like -2.1* give or take on each front and I can't remember the rear. Well turn-in was really sharp like that. I then installed all adjustable camber parts and got everything back to factory spec just to save tires. I noticed that turn-in was not as sharp and the car wasn't quite so snappy anymore. Ill adjust again with new tire/wheel setup.
It's possible that your new sway bars give you alot more oversteer than the Nismos you had at whatever setting.

Crap man I don't think I ever saw your Z with the V2. Last time I saw you or the Z it still had the Amuse kit.
geez youre serious, the amuse? i like the V2 better than my old amuse look. a set of cwest carbon skirts goes for $1100 now i only need one side. i might just have to go with seibon carbon replica.

Damn it! I was just in TX last week and I need new exterior pieces (f/r bumpers and sides). Sorry to hear about your mishap, btw.
So i completely need to vent! I was meeting my friend for lunch at olive garden off i-30 in arlington. When i get back to my car and start her up, I notice there is no pressure in my clutch. At first i thought i was just imagining it but then I realized he hadnt came back up, so i had to use my foot to pull it up. Right away it hit me remembering about some issue like this with 07+ models (i have an 08). Me and my friend were trying to figure out how to tow my car to the dealership without having to call a tow truck. After a few hours i said eff it and called the towing people. Cost me $60 to get the car towed to Don Davis Nissan in Arlington. Once, it got there it hit me that maybe i have the tow hook in the trunk by the spare. And to my surprise. THERE IT WAS. >.< I will find out tomorrow if everything is covered in my extended warranty. (crossing fingers it is not the clutch.) My car has 38,800 miles. I'm just hoping the workers at dealership realize they cant shift into any gear and will have to push the car into the garage, and i'm worried they'll mess something up and i'll have to make another trip. aghhhh. and for the record this is my daily, and i have work tomorrow, so i need to get a rental from Nissan. >.< *siiigghhhhhhhhhh* one of those days.
There was a recall on the slave cylinder for 07-08 so you should be fine... hopefully.
i asked they guy who was helping me, cause i remembered reading about the recall.. and i said "didnt nissan have a recall for the clutch sticking for the 07+ models.." and he said "No, i always check for recalls when i enter the order". and i didnt really say anything.. but i do remember it was for early 07 models that they had a recall.. please correct me if i am wrong this is what i read here on the forums...
