Eric, how dark did you go? Any pics yet?
JP, I went with 5% on the back and 15% on the sides. I think it looks great and the visibility is fine. Backing into the garage at night is sometimes tricky, but still ok. I'm such a fan of blacked out windows that I'm going to have Jeremy pull the 15% off and redo it in 5% all the way around. It's not a daily driver so it's all good.

I've never really done anything myself except oil changes & this is going to be my 1st tune-up ever so I really don't even know what needs to be done or what I need to buy to begin with.

Edit: Mainly I know I should probably look into my brake & transmission fluids changed out. I'm pretty sure my belts are good and should I look into changing out my spark plugs as well? Anything else I should look into?

Fluid changes/flushes are easy to do.

You forgot about the differential fluid, clutch, coolant, and power steering (anybody know how to do this one?). There are DIYs for a few of them here on the boards, and I did the spark plugs DIY a while back.

How many miles are you at? I did my Differential/Transmission fluid at around 30k miles. I need to do my brake fluid and probably coolant flush also. Jason everything still good on Friday? Took me a vacation day off to do maintence woot. 400$ for fluid flushing is insane, no way I'd pay that much.

Get your owners manual out and see what all is required in a "tune-up"....

check the 30,000 mile service requirements, 50,000, etc...Then from there use your own judgement............if you track your car, take care of stuff if its called for, if its just a daily driver, then wait a bit till you do diff fluid...things like that....up to you...

ALSO:

As for how to change or do some of the things, the "how to's" are always helpful, but just download and print out the section you need from the Factory Service Manual, PS is in there......all are in there last i checked...

Just a quick stupid question.

Does the key fob work on an 07 base?

My car was a repo when I bought it and the dealership only gave me one key. I am about to purchase the remote but I want to make sure it will work.

^^ humm? i dont know how you program a key fob.........check the service manual...

but i would just call the dealership and ask the service tech over the phone how its done.......if they wont tell you over the phone, then call another nissan dealer till one does...see if its something you can do yourself or if it takes tools...

^^ you have pm....but yeah, i think 255 would be best on the stock 8 inch wide rim....more than that with a 45 aspect ratio it will look too meaty...
