Shaddy - I know there was a V2 for sale in the Texas marketplace. It's not in FTW though, it's in San Antonio. I think it's still for sale.

Since we're on the subject though I gotta ask... I know you have a PPW also. Have you had bumpers or any other parts painted locally? If so, how was the paint match?

I have had a lip painted before, and the paint match was not that good because I didn't leave the car there for them to blend it. With a blend it will be almost spot on, I hope. I will update you though, since I'm going with an entirely new bumper I'm going to be **** about paint match! PPW is such a frustrating color since it's pearl and tricoat or whatever. BTW he got rid of that bumper

I will take that as a compliment I've been driving it around a little without the bumper, it looks like the drift car it will be eventually! I just don't want anybody messing with my car when I'm not looking.

BTW IF ANYBODY WANTS TO GET AN AEROSYNC NOW IS THE TIME WE NEED 4 MORE PRE ORDERS AND YOU WILL GET A FRESHLY MADE BUMPER! These bumpers are very highly spoken of for their spot on fitment and high quality poly urethane construction. It's a nice subtle upgrade for your Z and you know you want it. Please I want to get this done before Wekfest Austin

From my experience with DT, you might as well say the homeless dude on the corner torqued them down.

 

Always check when you get home. Then check again after 500 miles.

Shaddy - are you talking about the Aerosync N1 bumper or a V2? How much and which vendor?

 

mine make a creaking sound when loose - but i didn't run them so loose they clunked - just a thought - worth checking - no idea if that is what the sound is -

I would however - suggest jacking your car up and removing the lugs and then apply anti seize on the threads and then re-torque them down to specification - and again as mentioned - check after aprox. 500 miles - or after each rallye segment -

I've become a huge fan of anti seize and torque specs over the years -

 

I have a bike that I ride so the car can stay garaged until I find an aerosync. I saw that bumper though! If I happen to really need it I will hop on it.

It's 495 shipped anywhere, which isn't bad. From everybody I've heard it's well worth the money. Best thing is it goes perfect with stock parts! Most bumpers almost NEED side skirts and rear bumper but this is truly a "one size fits all" application.
