Dude I'll have an extra driver side test pipe here soon if you need it. If you've got the money I like optima batteries but you may not necessarily need that kind of power for the money.

 

well i just bought battery back in october, so it will be getting swapped out for free... jake thinks breathalyzer may have caused but i dunno.... dont care, but after leaving his house i stopped at gas station... and then had to push my car to start it so i am sure that will show that i started the car without blowing some way or another.. but i called probation officer right after it happened and let him know.....

he bought it 3 months ago, sat in garage for while he put it on couple weeks and then decided to go back stock. he doesnt know the manufacturer of it but said it fit great, no crack and just one scuff. i was already plannin on low balling and see what i can do


so i got email from kinetix racing about my cat, covered under warranty, but they want copy of original receipt... that is going to be fun to find!

Travis - is that bumper fiberglass? I'm assuming it is based on the price.

 

dunno, i will find out. what are the (dis)advantages of fiber vs poly... from what i have read poly is more to paint but better if bottom out etc but expensive to repair, fiber cheaper lighter and easier to paint easy to repair.

From what I know and have been told....Poly-Urethane is lighter and more flexible and forgiving of a material....so if you hit something it is less likely to crack. Also it looks better when painted...it has a smoother look and not that wavey or bumpy look to it.
Fiberglass is more rigid and stronger...however it is less forgiving and can crack if hit.

My front bumper is FRP....which has blown insulation with the plastic to give it extra strength.

Either way....that bumper would be a great buy for the money. I can help you re-inforce it to make it stronger if you want to.

Haha that's my buddies z, and who's selling the nismo v2. I've seen it in person and it looks pretty good. 200 is cheap IMO that's usually what vendors charge without shipping. If anybody meets up with him, tell him to sell shaddy (me) his carbon fiber hatch.
