I used to run 275/45/20's so I'd imagine they'd be quite big on a Z. I think it's one size down from OEM for me.

r1forever - Fortunately, I was able to figure out what the problem was and fixed it. Everything works as it did before. Thanks for your offer, though, as it definitely gave me some peace of mind knowing I had a backup plan when I thought I couldn't fix it myself.

For those interested, I posted about it in the thread I linked earlier:
https://my350z.com/forum/exterior-an...l-problem.html

As for my comment about 275/40/18 being too short and recommending 275/45, ignore what I said. I had a brain fart and wasn't thinking right. I've not been running a 40 aspect ratio tire in a while that I had things confused for a sec. So, 255/40/18 and 275/40/18 combo is one of the correct tire sizes. Sorry for any confusion.

Tonight is just not my night.

I am not going to be putting it in my car. I'm actually using it to bring a new product to the market.

Let me know if I can meet up with either of you to get the parts.

Thanks!!

pat, i am with you on the lights in the dash, they annoy me as well.. ever since the tune Steve adjusted the drive wire (i think that is what he called it) so it is alot more responsive and the freaking slip light comes on all the time if vdc is on. if i would have gone 45 series i would more than likely be rubbing. i like the way it looks and handles now.

i grabbed those skirts from chris yesterday, now time to narrow down lip vs whole bumper...after that i think it is time to start tearing deeper into the car, rear end, clutch etc

He won't have any issues with these tires...they look awesome and will be good for Travis for a good while.

Hankook V12's FTW !

I completely agree. I think they are the perfect tire for him. It's just that there seems to be some confusion on proper tire sizes through the last couple pages.
