Haha he hasn't been in the Z yet. I wouldn't put a car seat in there unless I disabled the passenger airbag. Apparently that can only be done at the dealership.

Stu, Mike - I was about to text you guys, but it looks like y'all got everything worked out.

I'm going to steal your meisters one day Mike. I've wanted those wheels since I bought the Z. I just can't bring myself to buy any.

 

 

Completed the spark plug install for NGK laser platinum ($6 each AAP) and used anti seize and torqued to spec. It was nice seeing all the plugs dry and no issues with the valve covers. I had them replaced under warranty 1 yr ago and they have been hold up just fine. I had Chris (3hree5ive0ero) come over to chill for a minute and look over the install. Everything turned out nicely and we went ahead and did a pedal ecu reset.

I filled up 15 gallons of premium and the "G" is ready to go for 100k miles. I am off next saturday in time for the BMW GymkhanaX and will be attending most likely. I hope some of you guys will show up and run your vehicle. I plan to run the STOCK Rev-up 6mt Sedan.

Yeah he came around 5 and I was just finishing up on the install. We double checked everything and made sure it sounded right when we fired it up. No check engine light and smooth idle was our confirmation. We did a pedal reset and then went in to relax for a little bit. My next install will be the modified plenum and MD spacer later in the year once it cools down.

 

Glad I was able to help you guys out. Helping each other is what the community is supposed to be about.

I have those midpipes if you want/need them. I'll take a pic tomorrow to send you to make sure they would even work, but I'm pretty sure they haven't been touched.
