Are you guys going to the range today or any plans going on. I am tempted to go to the range and fire the XDM. I think it might be too hot to work on cars today but I am always down to lend a hand if someone needs help.

 

chris and eric said they couldnt make it today.... we should try to make it out next weekend.....

i went to ntb today to get an alignment, and the manager was an @ss. he said that the last ntb i went to didnt charrge me enough for the contract and wanted me to pay the difference, i the nicest way possible i told him to go get f*cked that the contract is already in place. they arent going to be happy with me when i mess with my front camber adjustments, right now the left is -.5 and right is -1.1

 

Travis, was it the the NTB in Grapevine ? .... That MGR was a ***** to me last time and then I just told him that I was gonna transfer it over to my wifes car and come back every other week to take up his time.

Those guys were/are deuce bags....talking about how my after market stuff wasn't in line with the specs for oem.....I call ******** !

what is his definition of "a while", was it outside or in a garage, the pics it looks like there is rust on the pulleys so my guess it that it was outside unprotected

 

I was told "garaged under a tarp" I noticed the rust as well...was purchased for a 240 swap

 

i am getting out there to start driving in october!!!

 

if it was garaged i wouldnt think it would have that rust, if he did garage it was it sitting out in the elements before he had it in his hands

well i'll plan to come with you in october... maybe.. dunno lol - i got punted with 375 bucks of tickets last month haha which brings me to my next conclusion - i'm prob going to buy an escort redline... i'm still ultimately undecided but its looking like nearly 15miles of alert capability is pretty sweet -

 

i think for a motor like that - he is just looking to offload it - i think you should offer 150 and explain it is going to have to go to a machine shop etc which involves more transportation and time and it will need to be rebuilt - which then might make it worth 1000 - and then still - it will have to be installed and debugged - and possible sensors and wiring will need updated etc. thats what i think -

 

i hear ya on tickets, i got a $147 seat belt one...... and i have beltronics radar detector, not as fancy as the escorts (not the ones in the observer haha) but it has saved my *** many a times
