naw man i need a tune - because racecar

- really i just figured the osiris would get rid of codes etc - i figured the tune is just icing - even if no tuning is necessary - stretching the redline out and no codes and no governor is very nice - and the application of their software onto the stock ecu is very simple - much like my Cobb for the subaru - or at least thats what it reminds me of -

Lol, with the wing and them brakes, yours look most like a racecar.

Nothing wrong with getting a tune and I'm definitely not against it. I just don't think a handful of bolt-ons warrant the cost/time of getting a tune.

As for the codes, what the Osiris does is just make it so that the ECU no longer reads that particular code. I would much rather fix it than put a bandaid fix on it. Higher redline would be nice, but I'm not sure what I'd do about the governor. I haven't hit 150+ in years and don't plan to anytime soon.

-- good point

- the last time i hit 156 was in the supra at msr houston...- also was putting down around 520 at the time...

i was thinkin testpipes would cause a code - if not then meh - biggest thing is not having to shift lol

Must've been a pretty long straightaway. Any videos of the Supra?

03-04s have narrowband O2 sensors and won't throw codes if you install the non-foulers on the test pipes. 04.5+ have wideband O2 sensors and they'll throw codes even with the non-foulers sometimes. HRs were having issues regardless, but that was years ago and I haven't kept up with them.

Thats good to know - i was kinda skiddish on going with test pipes - figured i'd have to do pipes and tune together -

My supra had 4.27's in the rear and topped out 5th gear redline around 156 - but MSR has 3 long straights that you can really build up some speed - and a steady right that you can pounce out of at around 85-90mph which leads into a long straight -

I don't have any track vids on the computer - i hadn't had that car on the track since tx2k8 i think - our videos during those days consisted of 8m and some old chase cams with mics taped to the glove compartment - now some of us have go-pro's but we are too retarded to bring batteries chargers and sometimes forget the go-pro ( which is what happened at ecr a few months ago ) thanks to rum lol

this is from msrhouston - in the supra - it sounded crazy with a 4inch nearly all the way out and open wastegate -

Sorry for the late reply, but I actually use it as both. I mix it at a 1:20 dilution in a spray bottle for quick detailer, windows, and general cleaning.

ART pipes are awesome. I don't get a code, but one of my AAM HFC's did throw a code.

Go big or go home.

I am sorry after seeing kinetix break at the weld like that and offer you the worst most pathethic life time warranty support. That right there look like a design / manufacturing defect and kinetix should have put in a flex joint to relieve stress. Instead they let you pay for the weld and repairs so they can save money on flex joints and use crapshoot engineering. I would break off the cat and beat them with the jagged edge. I will do my best to not spend a penny with kinetix and make sure the spread the word that they warranty is crap shoot. Tony at motor dyne does not play games and stands behind his products. He has even helped out members who were screwed or scammed from motor dyne products. True stand up guy and I never have to worry about the quality of his product or his warranty to back it up.

flex joints would resolve all the issues, but i have yet to see an after-market cat with them. yeah i am not real happy with their "warranty" at all, lesson learned and i definately wont purchase any of their products again, or tell anyone to get them.

dang you jake, on the 15th after i get my airline tickets i am going to see if i can swing getting them
