So you just pick up a receiver somewhere and you're good? This sounds too good to be true.

I'm a cheap *** so I'm not buying any receivers. LOL

I just downloaded the free SiriusXM app on my phone and voila! You can listen on a receiver, a smartphone, computer, etc.

You get every channel too... Howard Stern, Playboy, etc.

you can get receivers anywhere for about $100 bucks that use RF adapters to tie into your radio ant..... but you have to activate the radio esn, so i am not sure how that is going to work. if you have an after market newer radio... you can get add-ons to make it show on the display.

i know when i was ready to get rid of mine last time, they freakin blew my phone up.. i called and cancelled got confirmation number and everything... then couple weeks got letters in the mail stating my acct has been terminated due to non-payment... i know if you sign up for it, and then google cancelling it you will see alot of horror stories

Mike, here is the link to their Oct. 13th AutoX #8.

But also you need to know that the BMW group requires that you become a member in order to register for their events....however, I think if you join then the first event is either free or like $10 bucks...something like that ??...not positive tho....then you will have to register on the DLB site so you can put your class and pick a number for you guys. ** you can actually register both you & your wife with one car and then you just become a 2 driver car. You will have to split up your run times...first driver in the front of the heat and then the second driver will drive towards the end of the heat.
I know it sounds confusing...but it really isn't.

If you have any questions I wopuld contact Michael Hollingsworth Chairman of the BMW AutoX group.

I think when you sign up you get the first event free...I think.

I would send an email to Hollingsworth and ask him.

They don't give out free events at TMS, only Mineral Wells. Ask Michael if you guys can get a free event at Mineral Wells the next time they're out there, otherwise you're paying double for this event and that would suck. He's a good guy, though, so I'm sure he'll take care of you guys.

I think the event on Oct.13th is at MW.

The last event for BMW is at Crandall Chris....the Dallas Raceway where we went to the 1/4 mile and your Z broke !

I'm not an instructor by any means....but sometimes I have been asked to help them out with novice drivers for the first time.

Just tell Michael you know me.

You sure? Michael auto-registered me because it was a TMS event. Their autox #9 is at Mineral Wells.

And you should ask to be an instructor.

I think only SCCA and ER are the only ones that are going to Crandall, but yeah, some bad memories there. I tied my PB that day coasting through the last stretch of the 1/4 mile, lol. Should've seen 11s that day.
