Good morning.

Does anybody REALLY get excited about their b-day. My girl friend keeps giving me crap because I don't get all happy about my birthday. Today is my birthday and she woke me up and can't understand how I look at it as just another day.

I still have to go to work for 10+ hours today, nothing too fancy going on after.

Maybe i'm "depressed"

 

Eh, i don't get excited anymore either......when you have a b-day during the week it does definitely feel like just another day....

My work gives me the day off for your B-Day..........But you have to take it on the actual day or you don't get it. If it falls on a Saturday then you are allowed Friday before off only. If its on a Sunday, then you are allowed the following Monday off only.

Yeah, I think its cool also.....but I wish they would be a little bit more flexible with letting you move it one side of the week for a long weekend if it falls in the middle of the week. Thats the only bummer. Mine falls on a Tuesday this year so I have to take Monday off now to have a long weekend. Now the Company has me out for 2 days instead of just 1.

 

eh..take it....4 day weekend is sweet.........then when you come back on wed.......friday seems that much sooner...lol...
