I want the CEL off 100% of the time. In 4-1/2 years of owning the car with HFCs the CEL never came on.

The biggest benefit of a test pipe though is the fact that there aren't any internals that would eventually give up. Lol

A huge factor is cost. HFCs are significantly more expensive than test pipes (with the exception of motordyne's high dollar TPs).

Yuppers....here we go again !

When Obama was first elected the price of Ammo skyrocketed and the sales of guns & Assault rifles tripled.

We are now facing the same.....there is already a waiting period to get an AR 15 and the price has almost doubled !

Good luck finding any 223 ammo also. It is all but gone off the shelves.

I've had test pipes on both of my z's and never caused a cel... If you get resonated test pipes though, there is stuff that can go out. My fast intentions pipes did it twice. I have Megan reaching in now and you can't even tell by listening that i have test pipes since my car is pretty quiet.

So I dug under the back passenger seat and inside of the glove box....came up with this.....but did not take it out.

So it seems we do not have a serviceable Fuel Filter....it is built into the pump and you have to replace the whole thing.

Anybody out there take this out and replace it ? Please let me know what is involved with it.

Here are just a few pics.

-------

Also last night I took off my CAI and cleaned the MAF, sprayed the throttle body, and changed my plugs again !

We will see if she runs better after all of that. I hope so.

Fith - You could probably switch to an inline filter and a Bosch or Walboro pump if you wanted to simply get a fuel filter that is serviceable - that is a little bit of work though -

is your car runnin rough?
