You have to have soft point ammo for the 100yd range.

If you have open sights, they might have you pay to bore sight it in....or you might go to the 25yd & 50 yd range to qualify on paper before you can move to 100 yds.

I had to hit a Bull on the Range Master's target before he would let me go to 100 yds. Took me 2 shots.

Let me know if you want to go Mackie...I'll spot for you....I have a great scope for that.

I think I just shot trap. Skeet the birdie//disk flies out in any direction right? We just did practice target because it was my friends first time. Next time we are definitely shooting skeet. It got really pricey especially since we paid for all the ammo and rental there. Shotgun ammo wasn't that bad but I didn't realize 9mm ammo is 30$ a box of 50. Next time I'm going to bring my own ammo.

No wonder forgot you guys had auto cross yesterday. Who all went? How was it?

My open sights are sighted in for 50 yards, I sold my aimpoint I had been running probably just going to pick up a micro t-1 since I don't really do any real distance shooting. Now my 308 is another story that range was that?

That was my last target from 100 yards with the ar.

That's where I go also Q.....I have been shooting out there for 15 years now...that place has a new owner and they put a lot of money into that whole place on both sides.

It is crazy crowded once hunting season starts.

Just bring your own Gun & Ammo and you won't get raped with prices.....but by far the best shooting area around for Shotgun.

Q, do you have a shotgun ?

I have one for sale....its a 20 ga. Browning Citori Grade III O/U

It is beautiful & awesome on the skeet range....I have all the chokes also....plus some extended Briley chokes as well.O:U 20 ga.pdf

I don't own any guns nor shotguns. That's a super nice shotgun. I've heard browning is high end and expensive. I don't think I'm looking into buying anything as I don't go that much. I already have enough unaffordable hobbies as is lol. How much anyways though? Maybe me and a friend can go half if I do decide. Ill bring my own ammo for sure though.

Q, I am asking $ 1300. for the Browning.

But don't let that discourage you....Guns are cheap....you just have to look in the right place.

I would start buying as many types of guns as you can....while you can.

Go get your CHL and stock up on Ammo also. Not for the Zombie Apocalypse, but for yourself as an American to be able to defend yourself.

I wish there was a place I could shoot the ammo I actually but besides the lease. My ars are all sighted for m855 with a can. Elm fork doesn't allow that ammo and they were weird about suppressors last time I was there. I really only shoot there when I shoot with my dad. Beyond that I shoot at eagle gun range in lewisville. I used to be a member at bullet trap, but I haven't been there in a while. Garland public is cheap and no one bothers me when I'm there. Not sure if they are even open anymore. I mainly shoot pistols, I used to shoot weekly before all of the bs happened now I just hoard .556 and whatever 9mm I can find. That target was with Hornady steel match out of my noveske aimpoint comp m3 with an AAC 762sdn-6

Mackie aren't the m855's steel core ?

We should have a shooting meet....all shotgun ....or all pistol....or all rifle shooting days.

Would be fun.

So tonight, I swapped back to the centric "quiet" brake pads (no more crying track pads) - and also slapped in some extended ARP wheel studs up front - i have to say - that those stoptechs are engineered very well - for maint etc - very nice indeed -

Yes, they are a penetrator round. I'm down for a range day. I'm off Wednesdays and weekends.

^ Get into the Tire PAX. Running STR will probably mean last place, lol. Might as well have some fighting chance in PAX against others (with the multiplier, of course).

Fithian, you know you're going. Sign up already!

I'm pretty sure I will driving the ER event this Sunday....So I need to sign up for the Tire PAX class ?

Looks like they changed up the original course to a modified one....I guess the cris-cross thing wasn't safe ?

Here is the new & old course.
