Mine expires on the 31st so I should also be at 9 days also -- still no emails. Still not sure why my membership renewed before it was even up and why I haven't gotten any emails.

Travis, I'll make it fit.

so i might do what fithian said, take it off... let it get straight in the sun... let it cool off and then fiberglass the bottom of it. think that would keep it firm enought to keep it from flexing any

FX looks good Stu.

Travis - you should have the splitter wrapped in real carbon fiber. It would never flex again and would look killer.

i am not a carbon fiber fan, i will just straighten it out and fiberglass it, that should keep it from warping

Use a sheet of aluminum instead. It'll probably be easier/faster and you can use it as a skid plate in case you scrape over something.

Aluminum would be good till you hit it then it stays bent

Would Fiberglass stay put when you hit something and it flexes?

i have yet to hit anything with it, at most i scrape it occasionally. i personally think the fiberglass would be the way to go since you can shape it

He has the ZSpeed shroud which is aluminum so I figured he'd be fine daily driving it. I didn't think about bending but that's a good point.

I can bring you some this weekend when we do the inspection. I bought a gallon of it a couple summers ago because one place has $5 shipping so I bought a bunch of big things. As far as using it, it's really easy and I can explain it no problem. There's also a guy I know who has a YT video of it if the visual helps. I'll paste it below. Usually Detailed Image will have it on their daily special every now and then, good for a couple bucks off at least. The other cool thing is they redo the formula to make it better every now and then. I think I got the second version, but mine is actually not the newest now.

Chris F, how's your schedule for August? I should be free pretty much any time.

Chris P, I know that sound from somewhere but can't place it exactly. I'm almost certain it's a video game. It feels recent though which doesn't make sense.

Travis do you hand wash the car? 2 bucket with grit guard and rinse the mitt after each section of a panel in the grit guard. Than get a electric leaf blower and dry most of the car off and than go over it with a clean microfiber towel to get the rest.

Sad to say you'll put fine scratches on it over time . I already see some on mines. It's just bound to happen. Best thing is to try minimize it.
