[DFW]: DFW's Lounge
Thanks, Chris. It was a pretty fun course, and slightly longer than our usual Dallas Raceway course. SCCA's definitely using Dallas Raceway again. I did hear that other clubs are trying to reserve the lot as well.
And how many runs do you get during the day ?
$40 for non-members, $30 for members. You can go as many/little times as you want without being a member.
Membership is $85 in Texas Region. You get discount codes each time you go as a non-member and you can apply up to 2 discount codes to get $15 off toward your membership each ($30 total savings). It's a bit cheaper if you get a 2 year membership and even more so if you get 3 year. There's other discount codes you can get from existing members, too, apparently.
They've been giving 5 runs lately and have a split timer in the middle so you can see how fast you are in the 1st half and 2nd half separately, which is pretty cool. There's also no cap on the number of entrants so the number of heats vary from 3-4. Either way, you run 1 heat, work 1 heat, and then rest during the remaining heats.

So you get 5 runs, switch heats/work, and then your done...unless you want to run some more after the other heats have run ?

Note to self, putting on a nicotine patch right before you go to bed will effffff your sleep up and give you some crazy fuggin dreams. Quitting sucks. I'm so tired right now.
just got an update on exhaust.... not in my favor. when they got the details from Motordyne they thought it said 8/2... however the date wrapped around to the next line so on the next line was 0/13. i thought 3 weeks was fast, guess i got another 3 to go
I'm glad to hear that your gonna quit smoking Pat.
I hope you can keep it up and conquer the habit. Look how much money $$$$ you will save !
No problem Eric....if you want I can work out some Payments for you.

No one?
I see that, was laughing. A dang lightning strike killed my garage door opener and shorted out fire alarm, going off in my entire bldg..fire dept tried to shut it off and it keeps coming back on....fml

Chris I would totally buy your bike if the timing was right, but it's not in the cards right now. It's definitely a nice bike in great condition. Good luck.
Looks like most people don't have to do anything but take the axle nut off, put some proper grease in there, and put it back on.
