I had an Integra GSR that I put a 6 puck in. I didn't break anything though.

I don't feel so bad now. Your post got just as many responses as my attempt to get some road trip action. Oh well....

If people don't want to drive to Ennis (cruise, drag race, spectate/cheerlead, etc), I highly doubt people will drive further for a meet.

I dunno, a few people where wanting to go.

Not everyone enjoys racing as much as we do... I know it is odd, but there are a lot of people that just enjoy socializing, enjoying the roads, and the beauty of the car.

I enjoy racing. But it can be hard to find a good slot of time to dedicate to it, since you have to drive an hour or so, no matter where it is, it seems. So factor in a couple hours driving, and you have even less time at the actual event. That is, if you can even fit it into your schedule. I may have to go on Saturday, because it is one of the few Saturdays I have open until lacrosse season is done in May.

I know. I haven't found anybody who will drag race as much as I do, as people will give up on it sooner or later. You better not quit on me, neither, Stephen.

BTW, I'm all for socializing and admiring the car, but I will only do so much of it before I get bored and put the car to use.

How do you have less time for the event? You get there before it starts and leave when it ends. And I have yet to see you there, so I think you're lying about racing. Prove me wrong and come out.

I mean that, it's not like if the racing starts at 10 and ends at 6, you know you will get 8 hours in, and only have to give up 8 hours. You still need factor in time to get there, pass inspection, etc. Are you (or anyone else) planning on going on Saturday, because it is possibly my best opportunity, but I don't want to alone. I have a friend with an HR G sedan who also might be interested. It's funny that I haven't been there yet, but I bet I have laid eyes on that track more than anyone else during 2009, since I have been down there a few times for dog training.
And when I said I like racing, I didn't just mean 1/4 mile, haha.

+1, the thing is you can do all of that at the drag strip too. plus there are many more domestics and imports there to admire and many more people to socialize and interact with. not only that you have stands you can sit, socialize, eat and drink. if you get bored then you can actually race you car! wow, its like the ultimate meet but some people just dont get it.
