Had a great time as usual at autox this past weekend. I co-drove Eric's Z and ended up placing 3rd in class and 9th fastest overall.

 

Yes, we should have a tech day where you guys all do my brakes and I sit around drinking beers!

But really, tech day would be a cool idea.

 

A tech day where Chris and I do Stu's brakes and Stu does Chris' engine swap. Sounds fair.

I will be busy part of Saturday helping my bro-in-law move, but we can work something out soon enough.

 

I would be down for Lower plenum aka mrev and spacer install for tech day. Possibly even rotors, pads and lines along with fresh fluid. Just depends on when the tech day / weekend is held.

 

i know patrick was wanting to do one maybe at his house.... but he has switched to the dark side and got rid of the Z for another Genesis....

 

I still wouldn't mind doing one just because I got rid of the Z. If we set one up say 4 weeks from now how many people would actually show? Let's just start a list and see how it looks and if it looks promising then we'll throw it. I've got the garage and a fully covered driveway so we'll have plenty of shade since it will be hotter by then.

My rotors and pads are supposed to show up Friday, although I'll be out of town and hopefully getting back that night. Got the Motive bleeder from Patrick today, thanks to him for bringing it to me. Hopefully everything will line up and I can do them Saturday or Sunday. Watched a vid on the bleeder and it seemed like it was totally doable with one person so I think I'll just do it myself. Just end up being time consuming I'm sure, and then do the bedding procedure. That is the part I'm most worried about just because it will be harder to find somewhere to safely do that and where I can stop and not be on the brakes while it cools.

 

im fairly new here, is there any 350z meets, i see all kinds of g35 stuff but not much 350z.
if you guys do a tech day i would like to host just to get to know some people. i have a pretty good size shop but i live Burleson.
