Hola, DFW Z'ers.

Anyone with suspension parts laying around they'd like to unload for a little $$? I was looking at selling the Z in the spring, but my front left coilover blew(ksport) and I need to get by until then... so I'm looking at either going back to stock or find a cheaper alternative until then... I finally put a ring on my womans hand and between that, getting her a new car and the wedding next year, I have to be mindful of my spending. I should probably fix it right and how I would like it and keep it another year.. but anyway.

If I do keep it... is there a spring/shock combo anyone has experience with preferable rebuildable shocks that don't cost an arm and a leg?

Thanks in advance.

Ksport's website was timing out all day yesterday so I thought I was screwed.... I was able to get a hold of them today and they are sending me a replacement shock to the tune of $135.... now I just have to remember what Jake showed me during the install.

I'm sure I want to measure the distance to mount to perch and overall length before I swap the parts over..... anyone else have experience doing this? what am I in for?

I've got oem shocks and springs and oem strut bar if you decide you need to go back to stock. I do t have the car anymore so they're just sitting in the garage.

ahhh.. It's been awhile.... I was the Z owner who had some brake issues with the non-brembo to brembo upgrade. Clamping noise during intial cold brake stop. I was using NAPA Auto "Ultra Prem" rotors and pads. I figure since I was not able to trouble shoot, I would "upgrade" those parts. I purchased the "brembo upgrade package" from Z1 Motorsports. Cross drilled/slotted rotors, Posi centric Cermamic pads, Motul 5.1 fluid, SS lines. I was suprised to find that the pads came with new Pins. That was going to be my next purschase. I'll install this weekend. Hopefully this does the trick. I will not be using the lines that were part of this package. If anyone is interested in purchasing, PM me. The lines are for Brembo and non brembo.

Also, if anyone ever sees one of these for sale please let me know.

I've seen red for sale recently, but not white. Then again, I haven't been seeking one out. Will let you know if I see one though.

The white ones seem really rare for some reason. I found one east of Rockwall but it had the Nismo stickers on it. I think it's the best looking color with that kit too.

no need to mod them is the appeal with Nismos i think. just buy and drive..

id rather have a 370z nismo any day over a 350z nismo though.

I like the way they look personally. Not sure how much of it plays into not needing to mod it, but that is true. I just with they weren't $5-7.5k more than a normal one.

I think the front in white is beautiful. It's weird how plain a stock non-Nismo looks next to one.

whatever you spend more now in price you'll probably get back in resale value. so if you have the funds id rather have the nicer trim level.

Yeah that was the other thing is they seem to hold value well since people think they are special.
