Beware dfw!
I just want to warn the DFW area, or any other interested 350z Buyer.
ALWAYS CHECK CARFAX WITH AN AUTHENTIC VIN
There is a person in DFW selling a 2003 Track edition Z/
They are claiming it is a clean title Z, with around 9X,XXX miles.
I used to own the vehicle for 4 years so i am 100% sure it was the one i sold to them.
It is a Silverstone w/ Brembos
SALVAGE TITLE
i sold the car with 164,xxx!
NO AIRBAGS
It has an HR hood
a double din pioneer stereo
NRG steering wheel
NRG QR and SHort Hub
Nismo CAI(short ram)
Nismo titanium shift ****
HKS replica exhaust
the first 4 pics our screenshots of the ad on craigslist. next 4 our pictures i had of the car when i owned it.
i think its f*ked up that this guy is trying to rip someone off by tampering with the odometer

I absolutely hate people like this who if Irvrioa is correct, go out of their way to stitch people up. I know the saying buyer beware but as cux350z says this guy is committing a serious crime and he needs stopping. Clocking a car just short of 60k and declaring a clean title is outrageous, This guy needs to be stopped and something tells me this is not the first time he's done this.

anyone solely relying on a carfax is asking for problems...buying a used car? sure check the carfax but take it to a 3rd party mechanic!!

I haven't tried contacting the police to start a report. Honestly, I think it would be one of those long, slow investigations.
I did speak with the texasDMV, they said they could not actually do anything unless it was a Dealership Selling the vehicle.
The title had printed on there 117,xxx, but they might have messed with the original title too.
bealljk is right, have a trusted mechanic look at the vehicle.
I met 2 guys at their choice of mechanic when I was selling the Z
it doesnt take long and it shows that you're not trying to hide anything.

I would speak with the local news. Some dumbass bought a 1992 Camry locally and lowered the mileage by 100,000. The previous owner saw this guy trying to make a profit, he altered the local news, then a police report was filed.
